Plot SynopsisIt is Turn 2 of the Fifth Pass, following hot on the heels of 450 Turns of threadfree skies during the Long Interval. An ambitious junior goldrider has murdered the Weyrwoman of Ista, leaving a power vacuum at the top and squabbling is bound to ensue. To make matters worse, those banished as criminals to the Western Continent have set the wheels in motion to create a Weyr of their own and protect themselves now that the Pass has begun, stealing eggs and infiltrating Candidacy with their own people. An attempt to steal eggs from Ista has gone amiss, and the rider of the queen whose eggs are on the Sands has been murdered in the scuffle. About UsIsta Island is an active, energetic community of roleplayers. We have plots - large, game-wide plots run by staff and smaller, personal plots among the players - to help keep things lively and fresh. We're a mostly canon site, offering the five traditional colors; women still Impress green in our timeline, and there's an upcoming plot to Impress a woman to a blue as well. Staff is active and helpful, running events, storylines, and contests, and the players are welcoming and friendly. We're currently starting the ball rolling on a major plotline.
