Teilia entered the lower caverns and sneered walking past a black rider. She hated those riders with their weird dragons which had brought shame to Fort. The queen rider took a seat at the table and then motioned for porridge, bread, and klah be brought to her. Her little Sapphire green fire lizard flow to land on her shoulder and crooned for food. A drudge brought her food and she gave a piece of bread to the little green fire lizard. Sapphire had been with her for a year and was relived when she had found the little green fire lizard. Her thoughts went to the weird dragon colors and how it had even effected fire lizards with those weird colors showing up there.
She started to eat looking around noticing there we're a few of those weird colored dragon riders around and was thankful they would have a weyr of their own soon. Teilia dreaded the thought of their queens rising and producing eggs which would bring more of those evil creatures into the world. It would just be good to poison them all yet everyone would blame her. A moment would come that she would use to get rid of them all and no one would blame her. Those dragons had upset the natural way of things with their strange colors they had dragons that we're above golds and bronzes which should have never happened. The scientists we're to blame and would kill all of them to if she could.

His stomach had been rumbling for some time, yet S'ven had tried to ignore it. Tsarinath had finally heard enough of it and sent him from their weyr to eat, and bid him not to return until he had feasted and his stomach silenced. As a result, he had ended up in the Lower Caverns, pausing when he spotted the Senior Weyrwoman of Fort Weyr. He couldn't help but to groan, already weary of dealing with the woman, but he feared his Tigereye more if he thought to return to his weyr and rest a bit more before he began his duties. Sighing, he stepped fully into the room, nodding and speaking with several of the Riders that would be transferring to Mavlok Weyr with him.
He had watched the Weyrwoman simply call for food and sit, the drudges bring her food that she could have gone and gotten herself. That was one thing he couldn't stand for, has he walked over to the various dishes that had been placed out and picked a little of each dish, before going for a mug of klah. When he was done, he had a bit of meat on his plate, bread, a bowl of porridge and am mug of klah. Turning from the line, he found the few amount of Mavlok transfers had already left the cavern, which meant he would eat alone.
Shaking his head, he moved over to a table, far enough away from Tellia that she shouldn't bother him, but not far enough away from her for his liking. He began eating, hoping to finish before she spoke to him or bothered him. He honestly didn't think he would be able to stand without punishing her for her faults against his dragonet's siblings and Theirs.

Lynera sighed as she gave the dragon’s hide one final wipe with the oiled rag and took a step back to admire her handy work. Compared to other dragons it took no time at all to oil Tilath but she always felt beat after it was done. The dragon rumbled her approval and commented how she wanted to go sun on her ledge and Lynera was more than willing to allow the dragon to do so as she walked up the stairs to her weyr and quickly changed out of oil soaked clothes before her stomach started growling. ”Go eat something before you fall over.” Tilath ordered as she stretched out on her ledge.
Not wanting to hear the dragon fuss and knowing that she would, Lynera headed back down the steps towards the Lower Caverns. Upon entering the first thing she looked for was to see if the Weyrwoman or Weyrleader was currently eating. To her disappointment the Fort Weyrwoman was eating, and Lynera wasn’t willing to put up her taunts today. Scanning the room she spotted S’ven. Lynera had never really talked to the Junior Queenrider before but thought he was nice enough.
As she placed some klah, herdbeast meat, and some fruit on her tray she approached his table. “Queenrider S’ven would you mind if I joined you?” As she asked him, she wondered if that was a proper way to address him, after all he wasn’t a woman, so Weyrwoman didn’t seem to fit.

Hearing his name . . . and the laughable title, S'ven lifted his head form his plate and found himself looking at Lynera of White Onyx Tilath. Granted, yes, the Riders of the mutated clutch were close, that didn't mean that they knew everyone; Lynera was one of those Riders that he didn't know well, though he knew a bit more about her dragon due to Tsarinath. "Please, sit White Onyxrider," he stated, scooting over a bit to make room for her.
"After three Turns of being with my Tigereye, I'm still not use to that title," he stated, grinning as he tore a small piece of bread and placed a small piece of meat, before dipping it into the porridge and taking a bite. Washing the food down with a sip of klah, he couldn't help but glance over at the Fort Weyrwoman, a small grimace on his face. "I will be more than happy when we are ready to leave this place," he stated, shaking his head, turning back to Lynera.

Telia was eating some porridge when S'ven came in who was one of those mutant riders and just kept eating. She was too much of a lady to say something to him at the moment. The truth was it saddened her to have such good riders wasted on those stupid colored dragons. It had been such a good group of candidates and to have them wasted on those abominations. When things started to get worst with Lynera showing up which caused her to groan.
She wanted them to just move away and prayed that the next clutch her gold had we're normal. Telia had been very disappointed in the clutches that her dragon had produced and wondered if there was something wrong with her. The weyrwoman sighed and smiled at the thoughts of a new clutch of normal dragons. When she just sighed then ate some more porridge and couldn't believe her gold had produced those dragons.

Lynera flashed him a friendly smile as she pushed a strand of hair out of her face. “Thank you.” The White Onyx rider didn’t know the Queenrider well either, but she figured there was safety numbers and plus this was the perfect opportunity to get to know him a little better. She felt this was important to do because he was going to be helping the Weyrwoman and Weyrleader lead the Weyr. “I understand what you mean; I am not quite use to being a Dragonrider either, although I can’t imagine not being one either.”
She took a bite of her fruit enjoying the sweetness of it. “I couldn’t agree more.” She stated as she thought about the future in their new Weyr. Lynera glanced sideways at the Fort Weyrwoman just in time to see her grinning about something. The young woman had always known how the Weyrwoman felt about them, but somehow it just seemed too coincidental to her that they were talking about the move and now the Weyrwoman was smiling to herself. “It looks like we’re not the only ones who are ready for the move.” She said with a sigh, shaking her head in pity for the Weyrwoman’s inability to accept something new.
“I wonder what she would do if that Gold of hers laid another clutch like the past one.” Lynera mused out loud. Normally the White Onyx rider wasn’t one to talk about someone behind their back, but she was concerned for the future dragons and riders who would Impress at the next clutch.

At the mention of the Fort Weyrwoman, S'ven simply took another bit of food, not sparing a glance at the female. "She is getting rid of some fine Riders. Many of those on the new color dragons excel at things her Riders aren't capable of. I fear she will regret it once we leave, when a new threat is on the horizon," he stated, lowering his head to his porridge so as not to spill any. As hard as he tried, S'ven couldn't resist looking once more at the Fort Weyrwoman, finding her grinning, which caused him to grip his spoon, bread in the other hand being threatened with it's life as he glared daggers at the Fort Weyrwoman. It didn't matter what she was truly smiling at, he had looked at her at the wrong time and it seemed that smile was directed at them leaving. "How dare she," he muttered, turning away and having to place his food and spoon on his plate, least he break the spoon and destroy his food. And he hated wasting food.
Hearing Lynera speak, S'ven's head snapped up and eyes filled with a strange express looked upon the White Onyxrider. "I have a bad feeling that she would do to those new Weyrlings as she has done to us . . . I do not think she would harm her Vivarenth . . . but I wouldn't put it past her if she tried to take it upon herself to try a new mate for her dragon," he stated, shaking his head, sighing as he picked up his spoon once more and took another bite of porridge.
